MERCHANTS OF DEATH NOW AVAILABLE! Merchants of Death, a Kate Dawson thriller, was published in October 2018 by Argus Books, and is now available at Amazon and other fine book stores. When a BART subway car arrives at its destination, with twenty-four passengers all dead, Kate Dawson must find out what killed them and who is responsible for their deaths. She is pitted against a young rival who covets her job, a twisted but wealthy brother and sister duo who deal in illegal arms and drugs, and a deadly group of U.S. Army deserters, known as Task Force Red. The story twists and turns its way through the streets of San Francisco to a thrilling climax aboard a runaway train loaded with a deadly toxin headed to Game #1 of the World Series, where the President of the United States is schedule to throw the first pitch.

What Critics Are Saying. Architects of Armageddon, a Kate Dawson thriller, was released on May 1, 2017, by W & B Publishers. Architects of Armageddon is the sequel to Intimate Bondage, and starts with Detective Kate Dawson still suffering from her ordeal at the hands of the Angel of Death serial killer. She has little time to pull herself together before facing off against fanatics from a religious cult who are plotting to trigger a massive earthquake with a stolen nuke, and thus destroy San Francisco.
Here's what critics are saying:

"It reminded me of Angie Dickenson from Police Woman. Kate is tough as nails, but far from flawless. The only thing she has not lost is her job and her life, both of which sit precariously on the edge of extinction. You can not help but cheer her on. You tend to see your own issues in a different light and want her to win, kick ass. I am looking forward to the next and the next. The first I read was Intimate Bondage. It has taken what seems like forever to get the sequel. Flynn does NOT disappoint." Review by CJ Loiacono

"Great book, it will change the way you look at reality." Review by Lascar Books

"John Flynns novel Architects of Armageddon has three things going for it: Kate Dawson, a sexy San Francisco Police detective who just will not quit; a collection of whack job religious nuts who have their members killing off their own families to welcome in the end of the world; and the City of San Francisco itself, the perfect place where anything can happen and usually does." Review by Dr. Bob Blackwood, Columbia River Reader, film critic.

"Dr. Flynn has done it again, with another can't-stop-reading race against the clock featuring the intrepid police inspector Kate Dawson! If you thought the Zodiac Killer was sick, in Architects of Armageddon a series of apparent murder-suicides leads Kate right into a Heaven's Gate-style cult in the heart of San Francisco--even as her colleagues on the force are still doubting and blaming her for the death of one of their own. I can think of a few A-list actresses who would be eager to portray Kate's combination of vulnerability and shrewdness (are you listening, Hollywood?). Does she find true love where she least expects it? Looks like we'll have to wait for the next book to find out!" Review by Rosanna Tufts, host of The Tufts Get Going! on BlogTalkRadio.
